SoCalGas Returns as Title Sponsor of the 2027 Altadena Forever Run. Community's Premier Event of Resilience Returns January 10, 2027, Building on a Remarkable Inaugural Year

 

ALTADENA, Calif. — July 21, 2026 — The Altadena Forever Run is proud to announce that SoCalGas will return as the exclusive Title Sponsor of the 2027 Altadena Forever Run, reaffirming its commitment to the ongoing recovery and rebuilding of Altadena following the Eaton Fire.

Following the extraordinary success of the inaugural Altadena Forever Run, SoCalGas's renewed investment ensures that the event will continue to unite thousands of runners, walkers, families, survivors, first responders, volunteers, businesses, and community partners in a powerful celebration of resilience, hope, and recovery.

Scheduled for Sunday, January 10, 2027, the Altadena Forever Run will once again feature a 10K, 5K, and 1K Family Run, bringing participants together from across Southern California and beyond to honor Altadena's past while investing in its future.

The inaugural Altadena Forever Run attracted more than 3,200 registrants, creating one of the largest community events held since the Eaton Fire. The event combined fitness, remembrance, storytelling, and fundraising while generating significant proceeds to support the ongoing recovery of Altadena.  The Run raised and distributed nearly $150,000 directly to Altadena Eaton Fire survivors.
