2026 INAUGURAL EVENT IMPACT

 

A Community United

The inaugural Altadena Forever Run was created to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Eaton Fire while raising critical funds to support Altadena's recovery. Produced through a first-of-its-kind partnership between the Los Angeles Sheriff's Athletic Association (LASAA) and the Sheriff's Support Group of Altadena (SSGA), the event brought together residents, first responders, businesses, nonprofits, and supporters from across the country.

Unlike LASAA's traditional Sheriff's Station Mug Runs, this marked the first time the Association partnered with an entire community to produce a signature fundraising event.

Total Registered Participants:  3,211

*Over 2,900 participants picked up race bibs during the two-day Expo despite periods of pouring rain.

Participants traveled from California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Iowa, Michigan, Alabama, Massachusetts, New York, Washington, D.C., and Mexico.
